Jonathan is ½ year old today

Jonathan bliver ½ år gammel i dag.

Jonathan is now 5 months old

Jonathan became 5 months old the 24th of October.
He slept through the night first time Thursday.
He slept from 20.00 to 6.30

Jonathan's christening

Jonathan was christened the 12th of October in Tranbjerg Kirke in Århus.

His full name is now Jonathan Noole Busch. We had lunch afterward at Ole's place.

Holiday cottage in Lemvig

Lydia & Niels had invited us (Jonathan, my husband & me) to the Hjertmann family's holiday cottage in Lemvig for the weekend. Lemvig is like 200 km away from Århus. Jonathan slept must of the ride there.
It was a nice trip.

Jonathan turns 4 months old

The "Sundhedsplejerske" (health visitor / nurse) was here to check up on Jonathan. She measured him to 68 cm and 7,5 kg. He may now start eating some maize flour porridge.
He doesn't sleep the whole night yet but wakes up 3-4 times in the night to get some milk. Hopefully he will learn to sleep the whole night soon.

I am godmother now

Malwa gave birth to a beautiful baby girl

She is so cute, mal and henrick better be on the look out that kid is cute and God mother might just come to steal it. Congrats again. By the way I think she looks like Henrick and Anders thinks she looks like Malwa. All just so you know she is called Isabella

Tracy gave birth

My Zambian friend Tracy in Flensburg also gave birth to a baby.
Unlike Malwa it is a boy. Congratulation and send pictures.

We took the train to Copenhagen.

The company that Anders works for has an apartment at Hammershøi Kaj near Christianshavn Station in København K which we will borrow for 4 days.

We took a trip to the beach with my sister Lydia.

This is Jonathan's first trip to the beach and his dad Anders celebrates it by getting a sun burn. He got pretty red.

Jonathan turns 2 months old

The "Sundhedsplejerske" was here today to check up on his progress. She said he looks perfect and he is a health and strong boy. She weight him at 6.00 kg and measured his length to 61½ cm, so he is growing fast.

Beautiful Day

Just enjoying the sun, its not everyday when you see it in denmark and by the way i just dyed my hair, it did not come out the way i wanted it to but hey it still looks good says my husband.

Anders created a t-shirt

Anders made a t-shirt for Nathan.

There goes my two boys, the little one is wearing a t.shirt made by the older one, don't they look absolutely fantastic. Well all in all we are making sure that the little one knows that he has two homes. So dad decided to make a t-shirt that shows the flags of his two homes and also it shows his name and date of birth. I love you boys

Big Boy

Picture taken when Nathan was six weeks old and i was just coming from the doctor with him apparently he has a growth on the back of his head and the doctor said its called a lymph node. Funny enough whilst I was at the doctor he gave me really bad attitude and not even explaining to me what a lymph node is instead he was treating me as if i was crazy but there is one thing he should understand is that this is my first child and its only normal for me to be worried about anything. Anyway thank God I have a sister who is a Nurse and she explained to me what it is all about and advised me to get a second opinion about the growth. Sometimes i wonder if doctors who behave like that are actually qualified.

Any way what the hell I still love my baby and he is getting cute and cute by the day.

Small garden party in Tranbjerg

We had a small garden party. The guests were my sister Lydia and her boyfriend Niels, Greta (Anders' mom) and her boyfriend Ole. It was very 'hyggeligt' as they say here in Denmark.
We had spareribs with potatoes and strawberries for dessert.

Jonathan get his first bath at home

Jonathan get his first bath at home and seems to love it very much.
He doesn't cry.

We leave the hospital after the birth

We were sent home 2 days after delivery, because the nurses were on strike. In normal circumstances you get to stay at the hospital for 5 days, but even if the nurses were striking we got the best treatment ever, the midwives, Doctors and Nurses were really nice to Anders and me until the baby came, it was the best experience having this baby here in denmark.

Jonathan was born the 24th of May

Jonathan Noole Busch was born the 24th of May at 04:22 in the night.
